When you visit Kung Fu 12 Szechuan, you will have to make a turn before the Wendy's if you are heading east, into a parking lot behind a bunch of restaurants. As you enter from the parking lot, Kung Fu is on the right hand side farthest away.
Every Chinese restaurant offers some things free. In this case green tea is free, but there was no rice cookie at the end. The chicken coop out that I had was delicious. The hot and sour soup was hot but not sour. That was solved though, by adding some black vinegar that was helpfully put at the table.
The staff was helpful and friendly. prices are a little higher than what is common for a Chinese lunch special. But, the food is good, the decor is nice -- so you will probably have a good time when you come and visit.
I got shredded pork in garlic sauce. I enjoyed the dish very much. My lunch companion liked the stewed beef spicy noodle soup. We also both liked the spicy lotus root. Quick service and a large menu to choose from.
Visited this place last night and I enjoyed the 3 dishes we ordered. The double cooked pork was particularly delicious and had great flavor. Service was good, food came out quickly, and the place was clean and welcoming. Can't wait to try more dishes!
Awesome little place! The first dish I ordered, I thought was slightly over cooked. When I brought it to the waiter’s attention, he immediately offered to have a fresh order cooked up, but we settled on another dish; Shredded Pork with Spicy Garlic Sauce. The pork was delicious, and they even threw in a free soup, discounted the price and didn’t charge me for the hot tea.
Everyone makes mistakes, but the the important is owning up to it and correcting it. I’m 100% satisfied with the food and service here, and will definitely return.
My wife and I had a nice dinner at this place during a lunch time. We ordered two of its 12 featured entries, finding that the taste for both entries is fairly authentic and tasty. but without the excess salt or other seasonings. The chef clearly has "healthy while tasty" in his mind while preparing the entries. Also, both entries look good and delicious as well, which shows the chef's professionalism and skills. :-) We find the dining experience to be indeed excellent and satisfying. Frankly, there aren't a lot of good and authentic Szechuan cuisine restaurants in Howard County. So I find this restaurant to be a great option and destination for folks like me and my wife who like and enjoy the supposedly "spicy while tasty and delicious" real Szechuan cuisine entries!
