I was there for an event. The food was great. I love the little crab cakes sample and the endless summer cocktails they gave us.
Food was tasty but service was slow. Our table doesn't get as much food as others until we stepped out and told them that we didn't get any chance to try the other food.
People were nice and friendly. It was my first event and I didn't expect to get a menu to order food.
We tried couple samples, they were all tasty. The cocktail was very good also. It tastes like lemonade with alcoholic.
This is a new restaurant, I guess if you like seafood, check it out :)

    Really disappointed.
Scallops were dry and weird taste. Felt like it was old. Changed rice and spinach for side .Rice was almost brown bro sry and crunchy.

Side order of FF was not fresh. Possibly older oil.

Steak and crab cake was good. Didn't expect a lot of the steak as this is not a steak place.

Service was good. Restaurant is well decorated . 3 star is too generous.

Honestly we loved it the first couple times. Think they have a great theme, local, fresh seafood.. :D
But they have since revamped their menu. Not a fan, hope they keep supporting local seafood but please bring some other menu options.. sandwiches, fish and chips, steamers, other than just entrees

We had a fantastic time at Walrus! It was us and our two adult kids. It was only 5:30 when we went for dinner after a play, but it was not crowded (unusual for Columbia). We were greeted by a friendly host and one of the owners. The night proceeded wonderfully--great service, fantastic food, nice quiet atmosphere. If you're unfamiliar with oysters, no problem. The staff is ready to give advice and they offer a sampler platter so you can try different ones. They have a nice drink menu with seasonal drinks too. We were not rushed and the staff gave us time between the appetizer, the meal, and dessert. The food is fresh and a bit pricy, but worth it.

The atmosphere was very inviting and the hostess staff were nice and friendly. The waitress was very nice, approachable and smiling. She recommended what type of oysters that fit your palette. The food came out good, and my other food which was cod sandwich. It was good and hot. Would totally go back.
