Tandoor Grill is the absolute best in Indian food anywhere. It isn't like the typical heavy curry flavor associated with Indian cuisine, the flavors are subtle and well put together. Their Chicken Vindaloo is amazing, it's spicy but the flavor is intense. The Chicken Saag (spinach) has really good spices in it. I've never had anything bad there. Don't miss the Kathi Kabob Wraps, it's Indian "street food" and is the most unique and best tasting wrap I've ever had. The chef and owner, Teran, knows what he's doing with spices. He and his wife will tell you about health benefits of each spice if you ask.
good food, friendly and authentic atmosphere, reasonable prices.
Very nice ambiance. We were seated right away upon our arrival for dinner at 7p on a Tues. night. There was only 1 other couple besides us but they were very busy due to nonstop takeout orders. Food was fresh and very delicious. Menu prices are at par with other high-end Indian restaurants, however, with Groupon it is a deal (not to mention either naan or rice included with curry). Our waiter was Daniel from Argentina and he was one of the best!
Food was ok. Burger was not juicy. No cheese or dressing or ketchup. I felt like they used ready made Shaan Masala. Wrap was tasty though, because of yogurt chutney I believe. Fries were good too. This place is small and need some interior updates, and cleaning some unnecessary furniture. Front lady could be better host. She was busy on phone while taking order. Also it took a while to get the food. I think they try to make it fresh, which is a good thing. But seriously need to update the menu with only those items which can be fresh, quick and could be with expertise and perfection. Menu is all over the place with so many items, and that can be confusing and difficult to manage for the chef I believe. Anyway it wasn't very bad experience either. But I thought I should leave a feedback so this place could be improved.
Hands down favorite Indian restaurant. Good prices and delicious food. Love the lamb korma with naan. But the best part that keeps us coming back: the owners! Get to know them!
