Over all it was good. I would go back again... The only problem is that the chicken wings are small, for the price that you get them for.

This place is a gem in the Colombia area, the staff is so friendly and they make you feel at home. The store has ample seating, serving local beers on tap and menu items that are fresh and flavorful. On your next pizza try a sprinkle of the Isot pepper and you will love the smokiness it adds to the meal. If you are looking for a vegan option their vegan cheese is one of the best.

UPDATE: After this post, we received a personal call from the owner to apologize and inform us that rude staff member in question is no longer working for the restaurant. Truly appreciate the responsiveness and we'll be glad to return in the future. Thanks for making it right, Homeslyce!

This is the first and only review I've written of a restaurant online, but after the poor customer service we received this evening at Homeslyce Columbia, I feel it's more than warranted. After several enjoyable past trips here, we made a reservation for 6 PM following a family event. We looked forward to taking our out-of-town guests to a spot we knew would be delicious and accommodating. Boy, we were in for a nasty surprise! After hitting significant traffic on 95, we called to let the staff know we were running 10 minutes late, to which the hostess replied (and I quote), "No problem." We entered the restaurant at 6:08 to be seated and were addressed by the manager as "the late ones." We were then told that several large walk-in parties had just been seated ahead of us and we'd have at least a 30 to 40 minute wait. While I take full responsibility for running late, had we been told on the phone that our table would not be held for us, we would understood and have made other plans. Instead, we were lectured and shamed and left with two small children in tears. Sad to say this former favorite has permanently lost a customer.

HomeSlyce is pretty great generally, and the owner of this one in particular is super friendly and seems to genuinely enjoy interacting with customers!

This location tends to run specials quite a bit in my experience, especially happy hour specials at the bar (for both food and drinks).

Also, they occasionally stay open a little bit later than the posted hours if there is enough business, which I find to be a nice touch. It’s always appreciated to be able to finish your drink/meal without feeling rushed.

It's been a long time i have had a really good pizza. This place has really nice ambience, staff is super friendly and the food exceptional. Will recommend for everyone to dine in to enjoy the whole experience. We ordered the spinach Pie and the meatballs for appetizers which were brilliant. For pizzas we had the meatlovers and vegetable Supreme definitely a must try.
