First Watch - Columbia

Amazing!!! Everything is so fresh and vibrant. And the environment was so welcoming. I had the kale juice and my husband had the berry blast, they were so good. I had the lemon curd pancakes with eggs and Turkey sausage. Eggs were light and pancakes were the best I've ever had. My husband had the waffle with same sides. We will be back.

We’ve been here a number of times. I think it’s only fair to rate on the basis of more than one visit. Our experiences average out to four stars. Above all the food is good. Well prepared, flavorful, reasonably presented. The service? Is a function of when you go. During busy times it suffers. Although I think management is working hard to correct this. Our most recent visit (Fysol in particular greeting and seating us) demonstrated that they’ve improved substantially over our worst experiences in the past. All in all? It’s an above average (and improving) breakfast/brunch spot.

The food is great here. Started off with a delicious juice, and then got the million dollar bacon which is really worth a million dollars. Then got a hash that was really good. One thing to keep in mind is the waits are very long, so make sure to reserve a table.

I've gone the First Watch in Laurel several times but this was my first time going to the Columbia location since they've opened. My friend and I went on New Year's Day about 30 min before they closed. It was crowded but we were able to sit right away because they were seats open at the community table. So we sat next to people we didn't know but it was really nice. The service was a little slow due to the amount of people in the restaurant. Also we had to ask for a few items that should have already been on the table. However our server Jasmine was really nice and helpful. The food was great as usual. I really enjoyed my experience and I love the idea of having a community table. It's a cool way to meet new people while you're having a great meal.
