Caribeyond Restaurant

The staff was nice both times I went there. The 1st time I went I had a beef patty. Unfortunately they sd the coco bread would take an additional ten minutes to be ready but I didn't have the time to wait. The 2nd time I went they were out of beef patties, goat, rum cake, and turkey. I got a curry chicken patty. Its spice level was a typical curry spicy. Their macaroni and cheese is DA BOMB. It tastes like a southern grandmother's recipe passed down from plantation slavery days. Their cabbage when I looked at it seemed like it would be nasty but it was good actually. My son had jerk chicken. He sd it was good and finished it but sd he's had better and doesn't want to return again. The rice and peas was over cooked and was horrible to me. It was like a nasty pepper rice. My son liked it surprisingly enough. The side of sweet plantain was good but my son sd it wasn't fried hard enough so it only tasted like a hot banana.

Great fast service!

Very warm and friendly staff. I enjoyed the chicken and beef patties.
