R&L Crab Columbia

Today was my second time getting crabs from R&L. The first time was phenomenal. I got delivery, it was on time and I could not find a single thing to complain about. This time was exactly the opposite. The crabs were mostly hollow and most were missing the majority of the legs. One thing I noticed times is that the back fin was partially detached on many of the crabs. Like, if I picked the crab up by the front claw, the back fin would just fall off. It was weird. I didn’t go during a busy time, I thought I was doing a good thing by getting there midday on a Friday. I’ll give it another shot. Maybe today was just a anomaly.

This place is a must try! The food (as seen in the photos) was so good!!! I’m skeptical of anyone selling cornbread, especially with jalapeños, but these ladies nailed it! The shrimp was perfect, cornbread was breading & the crab deviled eggs were crabbing! Thank you R&L for your kindness and hospitality, it was a pleasure meeting you. (I’ll definitely try the other dishes soon)!

This place and the owners are DA BOMB! THE BEST steamed crabs I have had in a long time. Everything else we tried was awesome too - avocado shrimp toast, crab legs, crab cakes and the crab dip - YUMMY! This place makes me wanna move back to MD - but wait! I don't have to cuz they will ship my order to me! Yay!

Guy Fieri - come check this place out!

I saw a sign for this place while I was driving home with my son. He wanted to check it out. We ordered crab cake sandwich, lobster roll, crab deviled eggs, and cream of crab soup. I’m so glad we checked out this place. Everything was delicious. The crab cake was pretty big and there’s not much of filling, mostly just big lump crab meat. The lobster roll was a lot too. The devil eggs with crab meat was really good. I never had deviled eggs with crab meat before. We’ll definitely come back here! The price is reasonable for the quality of food that we got.

Got swamp dogs. Meat was popping out. They were hot and fresh. Loved the service. They also deliver. You can order in advance so you don't have to worry about holiday sell out. I was so impressed. Customer service on point. Can't wait to go back. Glad I found them.
