Takumi Japanese Bistro & Bar

My beautiful wife chose this amazing place to eat mothers day dinner, It's located at Columbia mall. The atmosphere is nice, even though it's at the mall it's not deep inside the Mall, which I appreciated very much. We ordered the scallops carpaccio as an appetizer and it was Amazing! Paired it with some soy sauce and that took it to another level. I ordered the Maryland roll, Torch Roll and the blur crab fried rice 😋😋 10 out of 10! So happy the sushi was great because this place is 5 minutes away from my house. My wife ordered the Branzino and she also had the hurt sushi roll 😋😋 I recommend all these items! The waiter was great and really nice, can't wait to go back!

From beginning to end, Takumi really impressed me. The interior was modern and sleek which creates a wonderful ambiance that makes for an amazing eating experience. The meal is outstanding. The freshness of the seafood is just unmatched, and every dish is bursting with flavor. I could not get enough of the sashimi from the very first mouthful to the very last. And let's not forget about the oysters – they were a standout, incredibly fresh, and absolutely delectable.

Very impressive meal, photos speak for themselves. This is still in soft opening so some items are not available, but the ones that are: amazing and fresh.

DO spend the extra 10$ to upgrade the chirashi bowl, it's super worth it. Every piece is delicious.

Highly recommend people to come by and try it themselves. Atmosphere is the mall so if you enjoy people watching 👀 it'll be nice.
