Mutiny Pirate Bar & Island Grille Elkridge

Started out good because we got there before dinner rush. Than staff at bar got slammed n drinks slowed down. Made excuses for why they didn't get our drinks, thought u were done n u had three u don't need more, wrong.

I would like to give them 5 stars, but I just can't. Food was delicious, the staff is friendly, however, service is always S...L...O...W. We sat at the bar, and within the first minute, someone did greet us. It took almost 10 min before we received the menus. It took another 10 min before we got our drink order in. Knowing the game, as soon as the server returned with the drinks, we immediately asked to place our food order. We were ready, but we didn't know how long it would take them to come back if they walked away. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and was very delicious. Although they do check on you from time to time, its not often enough. The place was busy, but not packed. They could sell a ton more if things could happen quicker. I can tell you that we would have bought more rum if they would've gotten to us sooner than 30 minutes at a time. Maybe they need another bartender or two.

Came here originally to eat, had ordered the jambalaya and my dad ordered the Mac and cheese. My dad said the Mac and cheese taste like something we could have gotten at home. I loved the jambalaya but it was way too spicy. The drinks though are incredible. Lots of options to chose from and make ur own mix and matches. The bartenders really have knowledge on their drinks. And if your a lightweight not looking for a strong drink, they can do that for you as well.

Would not go back for the dining experience. Good service, friendly staff. Great selection of Rum and draught beers. Menu is higher than regular bar food, but far from restaurant quality expectations. Great place to hang out and watch the games.

New place. Very pleasant atmosphere. Pub with a lot of TVs all on sports if you’re into that kinda thing. Waitstaff was pretty good; a little slow at times but adequate. Food was good.

We asked specifically about gluten free meals for our son. They have a bunch marked GF in the menu and the manager (whom I asked for as I always do) assured us that they do take care of any cross-contamination issues. Our son was happy.

Unsure why the whole pirate theme but ... I guess, why not? It’s kinda fun.
