Beautiful restuarant with incredible food! The chicken was so juicy, the skin was perfect, the sauces were amazing. My kids love the chicken wings and tenders- they have. Yucca fries and corn are to die for. Highly recommend this place. Must try with family and friends.
First time trying this place and it was absolutely delicious. The food is better than Peri Peri in my opinion. It tasted fresh, was a huge portion, and perfect on the spices. The interior has a very rustic yet trendy look. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The people are super friendly and best of all the food is zabiha halal. The music they have playing in there is pretty good too. Nice atmosphere to be in for all ages. Sorry, I didn’t take any pics of the food, I ate it all 😬🤤🤤
Went to Tribos Peri Peri Ellicott City today and absolutely loved it! We got the crispy chicken sandwich (extra hot spicy level). The portion was big, and the taste was delicious. They left us two huge bottles of sauce. They also had complementary chicken soup. The place was clean and pretty; the staff was super nice. Big Zabiha halal sign on the door. 10/10 would recommend.
I had the half chicken dark , yuca fries and Tribos rice. The chicken was very moist inside with a good sear outside and was flavorful with the sauce that came with it. I was amused to see yuca fries since that's more of a Peruvian chicken thing instead of South African but it was good so I'm not complaining. The Tribos rice was light and fluffy and had a decent amount of spices but could probably use a pinch of salt. My only suggestion was for them to offer a combo meal to be more competitive but I definitely enjoyed the food.
This eat-in/take-away restaurant just opened Friday 12/9/22 and is offering a soft menu this week and plans to have their full menu available next week 12/19/22. This is a nice South African fare needed for this area of Columbia Maryland/Ellicott City south of US 40.
Had the Yuka fries and chicken with rice. The fries were good with two sauces to go with it. The chicken had a good flavor alone and the mild spice on the chicken was also tasty.
The staff was extremely friendly. I wish them well in their new endeavor.
Can't wait to try their full menu once available.
