Decadent, a Coffee and Dessert Bar

OMG, I felt like a mosquito in a nudist colony here. Do I want Gelato? Wait, no, they have cannoli. Or cake! A slice? Or a cupcake? Who can decide?

What to drink? A latte? Some Chai? Draft root beer? Fruit lemonade? I want them all!

Met up with friends here for Star Wars Day Eve, and they were so nice about 4 old ladies taking up a table for a long time and chatting while we caught up.

I've heard great things about the desserts here and I finally was able to pop in to try them out. The whole atmosphere was coffee bar lounge and not dessert, so it seemed to be that the desserts were an afterthought instead of the focus of this establishment. They serve wine too if that's your thing. I took home an assortment of desserts. They score high points on decorations and presentation, but I place more emphasis on the actual taste and found these desserts to be just average. By all means they'll pair well with a coffee or wine while you're lounging, but I think the desserts are not on the same level as other bakeries in the area that focus just on the sugary goods.

Over the rainbow treats! I sponsored a holiday cookie decorating needing 100 cookies for children to decorate! Decadent made it so easy and were so accommodating to make beautiful cooking to decorate! Provided all the icing and sprinkles! The best place in Howard Co. !!

It’s my first visit and definitely will not be the last. This place is so much fun with yummy beverages, freshly baked desserts, homemade Gelato and superb customer service. I had a large (16 oz) Authentic Italian Hot Chocolate. A staff later asked me if I wanted whip cream and marshmallows. It was so tasty!! Everyone behind the counter was super friendly and the operation was efficient despite the long line. Highly recommend it!

The cakes are flavorful and moist. The Lemon Bars are the perfect combination of tangy and sweet. The Pumpkin Bar has the perfect amount of fall spices, pumpkin flavor, cream cheese icing, and soft cakey goodness. The Gingerbread slices are rich and flavorful. The truffles are creamy and delicious. The Brownies are rich and fudgy, and the staff is very nice and helpful.
