Fun ramen pop up. Longer wait for meal to come out but worth it. I got the spicy tan tan men and husband got the original. Good meat, great egg, AMAZING broth in the spicy ramen.
This place is the best ramen spot in MD/DC/VA by a long shot. They make their broth the long way, by boiling pork bones for several hours. The flavor difference is very apparent. The main chef trained under a famous Japanese ramen chef.
This was our first time trying what we would consider authentic ramen. The staff was all very friendly, talked us through the options and the gentleman taking our order offered up recommendations.
My wife got the triple threat and I got the Baltimore sun. Both were delicious. Having tasted hers a little it was very good. The Baltimore sun has a little spice to it(as advertised) but was amazing. The pork belly fell apart in your mouth and the broth was amazing.
Sad they are leaving soon but they did say that they would be at this location until around April now as the permanent restaurant in DC got pushed back a bit.
We'll be back again soon to try more.
Excellent ramen. Some of the best tonkatsu broth I've ever had. Pork was a little tough but the noodles were excellent. Looking forward to trying more of the menu before they decamp for DC.
I got recommended this place by a family member. It lived up to the expectations I had for this place. I had to wait 23 minutes. I got The Baltimore Sun, it was very good. It was spicy so you might want to get a lot of napkins. It is a little bit pricey for ramen. Great family time.
