Although the setting in some rooms is cozy, we were placed in the bar room... which was not The service was perfunctory but barely pleasant. The food was good... appetizers and main course.

Normandy farm is a traditional sit down restaurant with a pub-style bar. I especially enjoy the entertainment they have on Friday nights. While some may consider the decor dated, it is much like an old tavern or clubhouse. Dinner service is white table cloth and classy. I have never had a bad meal at Normandy. They start out dinners with their signature popovers with butter and jam - these are outstanding - and they have a full menu with specials. The kitchen can accommodate dietary restrictions, but call ahead if you have questions.
The dining area is large, and can accommodate an affair or large party. In the summer they have outdoor seating, which is very nice.
If you just want a quick bite, the bar has a good menu, and serves the full dinner menu.
There is handicapped parking, although there are some steps inside.

Old style elegance in food and service-prices are surprisingly reasonable.. spoiling ourselves with wonderful dishes all the many times we ate there..fabulous pop-up breads. Why wait till Mothers Day or a birthday or anniversary? Spoil yourself any time! Rare find was Beef Wellington done masterfully. A fun food to play with is the cheese stuffed whole baked artichoke .. large and delicious. Delicious desserts and after drinks. We like to dine in the formal main room then adjourn to the lounge for dancing and music if it is not too crowded and only just busy. Same great service with good sounds and separate dance floor. It certainly is worth the drive from Tysons and Virginia.
