Old Anglers Inn

Very nice spot near Great Falls of the Potomac. I have only been there for brunch one time, but I will definitely be back. Try the Angus Burger or the Tortellini Soup. Both of them very good. Historic building with a blazing fire pit if you want to sit outside.

First time here, and enjoyed it very much. Food was delicious and service excellent. Had the Chateaubriand which was very nice with potatoes and asparagus. Wish the horseradish sauce was a little hotter, but that's personal taste. If you're not pretty nimble, be sure to ask for downstairs seating when you make reservations. The staircase will be difficult for many people.

A very romantic place with great food! We have dined out at the fire pit and loved the experience. Inside is more intimate and equally as nice. The staff are attentive, but know how to give you time to enjoy the meal. It's not a fast food place...more of an experience to be savored. The prices are high, so we use Groupon for a discount. It is an old tradition in Potomac, and we enjoy dining there.

Review of outside dining experience (winter & fire pit). Exceptional experience after having hiked nearby C&O Canal. Roaring fire, great selection of grill food including brats, chicken, wraps and salads. The restaurant personnel including the GM, Danny, make for a very memorable experience.
