Quincy’s Uptown Bar and Grill

Food is good . We ordered takeout and took them about 5 minutes after asking me my name to figure out the bags were right under their nose. They collected payment and walked away before handing me the bags behind the bar. It is sad that each quincy's has completely different menus .. so zero on consistency.

Pros: new place in Damascus that is good for families. Kid options were good and both kids ate everything. The food runner was super nice and brought my son his lemonade which was forgotten by our server.
In the middle: My husband and my food was okay. He had the hot chicken and liked that it was hot but said the chicken was just okay. I had the crab cake and it had lots of crab in it but wasn’t particularly warm.
Cons: The hostess was texting when we arrived and said for us to take any seat (the hostess was an adult and not a teenager). They were out of milk (which is understandable cause it is a new place) but then my son ordered some lemonade that was never brought to us until we asked the food runner who brought our food. We had to grab both napkins and ketchup from empty tables cause neither were ever brought to us. Our server never checked back with us until long after our order arrived which is why we had to grab both napkins and ketchup from other empty tables.
We will go back because we understand that it is new and still trying to figure stuff out and it is nice to have another restaurant in Damascus but I am hoping the cons will be worked out next time!

The bar staff and manager, Taylor, were incredibly friendly and set the tone for a positive, fun afternoon. I love the cleanliness, the atmosphere and the look and feel of the place. Great place to call a home bar. Has a Cheers feel to it. And the food is great. Any new restaurant has a few kinks the first couple months with the menu, but as a regular of Quincy's South, and a foodie, I can attest to the fact that they will figure it out and the food will be great.

Food excellent. Staff friendly. Nice decor. Went there during lunch. Fast service. Can’t wait to go there again!

We were there on a Friday night with a large group. The waiter, Brendan, was great! Food and drinks came out quickly. Greek salad with grilled chicken was delicious. The DJ was great-played music bingo. We had a great time! SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS!!!
