La Bohemia Bakery

This is the BEST French bakery I’ve found in Maryland. Paris is my favorite city to visit so I compare anything claiming to be French here in the states to food I’ve eaten there. The freshness, taste and quality of the items at the bakery are right on par with across the pond. My faves are the canelés de Bordeaux, honey cake and the sandwiches are quite delicious!

I need bread like baguettes every week because I usually make bocadillos for my kids to take to school for lunch. And this is always where I buy the bread. Their breads last longer and they are within budget.

Delish! Totally my fav bakery! Awesome fruit tarts that are more about the ingredients and less about masking things with sugar and calling them pastries. Great when I need to bring dessert. Always a hit!! Best almond croissants ever! Limited menu of baguette sammies! Same bakery as stand at Bethesda Women's Market which I understand will be/is closing. (Also, reincarnation of St. Michel Bakery with same talented pastry chefs.)

Authentic French Bakery!! Delicious breads & French pastries. They offered both small & regular sized Cannelle that tasted just like I was in Bordeaux! Hidden gem for sure. Hard to find & limited seating but perfect for the take home treat!
