Definitely one of the best pizzerias in the area, better than Jumbo Slice and dare I say better than Mama Lucia's. Its hard to miss because it's not on a main road, but it was definitely a hidden gem worth finding. I had one cheese slice and one pepperoni slice. Neither slice had grease dripping from them, both had the perfect balance of cheese and sauce. The crust on both were crispy and chewy. I'll update this the link to my official review page, but I had to write about this now. I'll be back for sure, it'll be my cheat day reward.
I think the pizza here is delicious. Definitely not that garbage pizza leo place reopened under a new name. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, nothing to complain about, definitely agree with reviews saying on par with pizza cs/ny, mama Lucia etc. Might be my new place when I'm in a pinch
Finally, a GREAT pizza place in the neighborhood. If you want a perfect pizza look no further. Far better than pizza CS NY.
As someone who lived in Queens as a young child where my father owned a pizzeria, and spent numerous summers there with relatives, I have grown to appreciate the simplicity and flavor of pizza from any of the five boroughs. I've lived in Maryland for most of my life, and have had a lot of pizza, good and bad, but none has delivered the authentic taste and texture of NYC Pizza's masterpiece. The owner is actually bringing water down from NY (some say that is the secret of a NY pizza) and it's definitely worth it. Several other pizzerias in the area boast of serving NY pizza, and all come close, but this is spot on!
