Not the best mixican food I've had but it wasn't a bad spot either. I had the Al pastor tacos, the veggie nachos, and I tried the coconut flan and tres leches. Everything tasted good, but not authentic by any stretch of the imagination.
Place is very nice and clean, Ambiance is very nice to go for a drink, however food is not very tasty, is very plain, it could be better. Servers are a little out of it although they are very nice.
Pros:
friendly staff;
nice bar-heavy decor;
tacos are served really hot (as in not sitting 15 minutes on a counter prior to be served);
somewhat interesting margarita recipes;
tacos (other than duck - read below) were well received by our dining party of 7.
Cons:
the aforementioned ($9) margaritas are actually a glass of ice with what looks like two ounces of the drink - I had tequila shots bigger than that;
absolutely terrible steak fajitas;
duck tacos should be called Onion Tacos because the ratio of chopped onions to pulled duck in them is about 5:1;
churros were too hard and cut short which made fishing them out of a serving bowl awkward;
small tables (6'3'' guy in our party had a hard time squeezing into a booth).
Great place. Seems like the place to go for happy hour. Lots of people there. I will say the music was a bit loud so it was hard to talk to your party. But food was good. Got happy hour specials and tried both sangrias. Very good. Nice artwork as well. I would recommend.
