Nice little restaurant.. staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. Nice wine selection and the cocktails are excellent. The cauliflower steak was probably our favorite
Everything about Duck Duck Goose was amazing. We ordered the risotto with duck confit to share, which was delicious, the goat cheese offered a great burst of acidity and the bacon added a textural difference that really complemented the dish. To drink we tried the DLorange, the little death, and the golden goose, all were great, but I think the little death was our favorite. For the mains we had the duck duck burger, which the combination of cherry marmalade and brie was delicious, and the braised lamb shank which was our overall winner. We will definitely be back for more.
Amazing food! Very flavorful and a friendly staff. Will definitely come back.
This was a good dining experience in a comfortable and warm environment. The space is small yet intimate but doesn't feel crowded or overbearing. Sat outside on a warm evening and it made for a pleasant setting. The wines were mostly French and one might expect but offered a good variety at differing price points. The small plates were excellent as was the main course. I had the salmon which was prepared wonderfully. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quaint and friendly destination.
I had a lovely evening here with a group of 10. The wait staff were all so great. They were polite but not in an overly fancy way that makes you feel like some kind of royalty from the 1800s. It was just perfect and one of the best wait staffs I've ever experienced. I felt respected but they were also fun and not cookie cutter humans: the restaurant allowed them to be themselves with style of clothing, piercing and exposure of tattoos.
Now for the food and drink. I got some kind of daily special cocktail that I don't remember the name of, but it was a deliciously perfect mix. For my meal I had the scallops with Israeli couscous and it was fantastic. The Israeli couscous is larger and smoother which was a perfect fit for this dish instead of regular couscous. The scallops were cooked well, and the puree and sparing use of green apple was a great blend. It was surprising but tasted like it all belonged together. Really complimentary flavors and I would absolutely get this again. I could not stop eating this dish!
