The food is amazing! I highly recommend getting the Lamb Burger. It was very juicy and flavorful. Best lamb burger ever! They give a generous portion of fries, but you can also opt for a side salad instead. Oh yeah, if you have room for dessert, get the Chocolate Bread Pudding! Simply divine. Note that it takes 30 minutes to bake so order in advance!

I’m not going to lie. Bethesda talks a big game with all the restaurants available, but not too many of them can live up to their name. Food Wine and Company was a pleasant exception to this Bethesda rule. Conveniently located near the Bethesda Metro, this restaurant is an ideal happy hour spot for daily commuters. You can grab a glass of wine with your favorite colleagues and hop on the Metro right after.

My colleagues and I recently went here for happy hour. Despite being a spacious restaurant, it took them awhile to find enough seats to fit our team of 17. They ended up putting us at a long high table and we were cramped, but alas. The food and drinks made up for it. They have decent happy hour prices and their bar food is good. Fan favorites included the parmesan truffle fries, fried potato tots, and the calamari. They have a wide selection of beers, wine, and cocktails on happy hour prices.

The atmosphere is more dim than other restaurants, but it works for them. If you need a good happy hour spot in Bethesda, go here.

My parents and my wife went here to catch up. The food was delicious the service was excellent. I never knew the inside of the pace was so cool because the outside is unassuming. The best dishes were the tots, beet risotto, truffle burger, and flat iron steak. They also have a great beer selection. Their burgers were perfectly cooked and tender, rivaling Thunder Burger in Georgetown. Our waiter was awesome, too. I wish I could remember his name to recommend him...

I went to Food Wine & Co. this evening to have dinner and was absolutely blown away by how great everything was. The atmosphere was very cozy, and the staff welcoming and attentive. As for the food, the Red Wine Deviled Eggs, Bucatini, Rum Cake, and Apple Orchard cake I tried were to DIE for. Our server paired wines to entrees for both my guest, they were perfect. I am so impressed with this restaurant, I can't wait to return and treat myself (and my clients) again! My compliments to the Chef!

I am a local to this area and not big into writing reviews about places but I have had several experiences here that have been rather troubling. When Food & Wine Co. opened we loved it, the food was and still is great. The servers are excellent and very knowledgeable about their food as well as the great beer and wine selection. The problem is the hostesses. When they first opened things were pretty typical for a nicer restaurant in Bethesda, but conspicuously after a review in Washingtonian magazine rating them one of the top restaurants in the area, things went south. Now the hostesses act as though they are doing you a favor seating you, and forget asking for anything like an additional chair for a table. It's a shame but I have just started skipping this place all together and going across the street to Ruth’s Chris. The food is better and you don't have to be deemed worthy to enter the front door. I guess you get what you pay for in this area.
