This is an easy place to appreciate. The atmosphere is typical of a large chain restaurant and the servers are friendly. The menu is not very extensive, but what there is meets the tastes of most people, is always fresh, nicely presented, and tasty. Portions are appropriately sized for American diners.

For lunch, I split a salad and a small pizza, and that is enough. Other favorites are grilled tuna salad, the fried chicken sandwich and the burgers are good, too. This is a a nice seating area that sits close to the sidewalk where the large windows are opened on nice days and a round bar area which is situated diagonally from the cross walks. This is a popular place for groups so it can get a bit loud at times. Overall, a good choice for casual lunch or dinner if you are in Bethesda.

Glad to have a restaurant like this take over for the piss poor American Taproom that simply did not use the space correctly and had donks running the bar. I expect this location to have a good run like Mussel Bar next door and be around as long as Cafe Deluxe.
