    Worth driving across the American Legion bridge for - and that says a lot! Definitely get the roasted cauliflower appetizer and the bolognese. Get the cheesecake too - best Ive ever had! Love the cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Will definitely come back

    A wonderful neighborhood Italian restaurant with great selections to share. Some real goodies on their menu.

    My friend and I enjoyed lunch here. The $10 lunch special provides a wide variety of options; I chose the half-sandwich chicken and sweet red pepper panini and half-salad of spinach with fried goat cheese. The panini oozed lots of rich mozzarella cheese and was perfectly toasted, and was a very generous "half". The clearly fresh spinach salad also included candied walnuts with a light vinegrette dressing deftly applied. The 2-inch circle of very lightly breaded and fried goat cheese was a savory treat.

    Always a treat to dine at Sals. Great staff. Amazing dishes. You can never go wrong here.
