California Pizza Kitchen at Washingtonian Center

The food was a 4.5, but the service was a 2.5. The young lady who ended up being my server kept it from being a complete disaster, but it definitely started out that way. I was not acknowledged for a long time when I first entered, while the staff gaily chatted with each other. When someone finally spoke to me, she tried to get a server to take care of me, but neither escorted me to a table nor offered to take a drink order. They both walked away and just left me standing there. When I had to announce that I'd like to sit down, the server motioned and told me I could sit anywhere. Eventually, the bartender from across the way asked if I needed something. She came from behind the bar, but when I wanted something non-alcoholic, she passed me on to the young lady--competent, friendly, and the only sign of satisfactory customer service--who ended up taking care of me for the rest of my stay. This was all after placing a $170 catering order. I left thinking that I perhaps should stick to take-out from this CPK.

Went there for lunch a couple times. Got the lunch duo special; a small pizza with a choice of salad or soup. The food is amazing! The waiters were nice and attentive. Occasionally, the manager would come out and check on customers too. Great place.

Always visit while were in the local area! The service isn't too clingy but they make sure to fill your glass! Pizza is always made fresh to order and they never skimp out on the toppings.

The food was great. The service was great too. The food came out very quickly and tasted amazing. My only complaint would be that every single plate and cup I had was chipped.

This place is absolutely wonderful! The food is fresh and they have a variety of food to pick from. The dessert and drinks were also on point! Would recommend to anyone for a first date, friend's date, or kind of date. Definitely going back! P.S...service was also very good and professional!
