The Honey Baked Ham Company

Portion size was lacking. This is the first time I have been disappointed by The Honey Baked Ham. The sandwich was delicious as usual, as was the broccoli bacon salad. However, the croissant they served was the smallest I've ever seen! Also, the broccoli bacon salad came in a container that was at most about 4 adult bites. I took a picture of 1/2 of the sandwich along with the broccoli container and a standard size plastic fork to provide perspective. I'm not sure if all HB ham stores have changed or just this one, but I seriously felt like I paid around $10 for a kids meal (that didn't come with a drink!). I will look around for another HB ham store and try that, I don't think we will be coming to this one. The staff here were very friendly and again, the food tasted great, the portion size was just too small. Seriously, look at that half a sandwich next to a regular size plastic fork!

The Cafe at Honey Baked Ham Co. at the Walnut Hill Shopping Center, Gaithersburg, MD is a hidden gem inside a gourmet ham store! I stopped by yesterday with a $7.99 coupon for a lunch combo. For that, you get a large croissant sandwich (or whatever other bread you like), your choice of meats and toppings, a deli pickle, a side (bagged snack or cookie) and a drink. Service is always friendly and your food is brought to your table, or you can order it to go. I ordered a classic ham sandwich with no mayo, got a bag of chips and a bottled water. The sweet bbq sauce with their signature ham, cheese, lettuce & tomato was great! Cut in half with toothpicks and a mint on the side. Lunch is served like a gourmet restaurant. Sorry, I dug right into the sandwich before I could get a photo!

Their customer service is great! Leidy is such a great employee. I went there my first time and she gave great suggestions. The only reason why I'm giving it a four is becuase their frozen sides? like the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes are horrible. lol If you know how to cook like me? That taste like jail food. lol Their sandwiches are GREAT! and potatoes salad is good. They have plently of sitting so you can eat there if you want. NOW! Their CHEESECAKE? Hunnie! If you don't buy that? Your missing out. SO GOOD!
