It was a great place for a small neighborhood gathering on a not so busy Sunday evening. I always enjoy the shrimp and veggie tempura. That sauce is my favorite! I got some key lime pie which was not really delicious. It just seemed like a "jello" mix rather than a decent restaurant quality. The other desserts were good though. Wine was fine and affordable.
Great fun place!! Food was good! Our server made our visit the best! As I observed others having dinner as well- they all seemed to be enjoying their servers as well. Maybe management got it right when hiring!! Yeah for them! Speed if delivery of food was good as well and we did get a fee mixed drinks and they were good as well.
So the overall theme here is good or average- just like the name!! Nothing except our server was outstanding. But a fun place to go! Prices were a little high for the quality but to be expected here in the kentlands!
We picked this restaurant using the ratings on open table and it did not disappoint. It was casual enough for family dining. The decor and ambience was unique and pleasant. The food was above average and the server was very polite and attentive. The prices seemed a bit higher than usual, but not unreasonably so. My teenaged daughters loved it, so I would try it again.
Dined in with two friends at this restaurant, today. We received the best service from employee, Dominique. She was friendly, on top of everything from bread, dinner to taking away plates. She made sure we had the best service possible. She made excellent recommendations on entrees and even went out of her way to promote and validate the happy hour specials. She has sincere hospitality and should be promoted to manager (if not already) I will be returning and asking for Dominique.
We waited 40 minutes for a table. Maybe this is understandable given it was New Years Eve, and we didn't have a reservation. The host was friendly,. The noise level was a bit high. There was a festive spirit that filled the single, open-air, dining area.
The booths were just big enough for four, though the table was too small. We waiting less than five minutes for the waiter to appear. The waiter was friendly and courteous. Given the size of the table, during the course of the meal, I'd have preferred the dishes to have been cleared from the table faster.
Once we ordered, the food arrived promptly. The gratuitous bread, though tasty, eating it was literally like chewing on wood to the point my jaws grew tired and teeth sore. The New England clam chowder was good and hearty but bland. The sirloin steak was tasty. The Caesars salad was fresh and the dressing a bit thin. The other vegetable sides are fresh and cooked well. We ordered two salmon dishes. One was moist, the other, with pesto, was dry. The dry salmon meal was not finished. The meat loaf was good. The watermelon lemonade was really good. The price was about $120, overpriced in my opinion.
Overall, the food is so-so with a franchised flavor and moderately upscale price tag This did give the family an opportunity to get out of the house on New Year's Eve, but this restaurant is no longer on my list of places to go for dinner, and it's too far off my daily route to try lunch.
