    OMG! What a surprise! I went to MD to visit my daughter who works at NIH. Since it was my first visit, I did not know which would be the best place for sushi/sashimi. After I left my dog at the pet boarding place, I went to Lotte market in the same plaza and ordered a sushi plate.

    I got 2 trays for one order (ichiban party tray-$140)- it was amazing!!! I never tasted such fresh sashimi since I came to US!! Roles were also outstanding!! They were generous enough to give us a free 파전!!

    My family was all touched by this sushi/sashimi tray and enjoyed outstanding food!!

    This place is our new favorite!!!!! We were really craving sushi and rolls, so we decided to order a $60 platter (Samurai Party Platter). I looked at the menu and saw that there are 4 white tuna, so we asked if they could substitute with anything. We got other kids friendly stuff (eggs, crabmeat, inarizushi) and our boys loved it. They also gave miso soup and grilled salmon head as an extra service (like yuraku did!!). We were so pleased with this place. Definitely recommend anyone and everyone to try it out! Fresh sushi!!!

    I've tried all the comparable places in the area and Ichiban Mikoshi is by far the best, especially their large catering platters filled with rolls and negiri pieces. The man behind the sushi counter is meticulous and the quality of the fish is exceptional. Nicole, the owner, is super friendly and knowledgeable. Oh, by the way, the Korean Fried Chicken here is outstanding as well. So crispy and juicy!

    Love love love. Can't wait til I go back for more! Love their platter selections. Always fresh and delicious. Definitely recommand this place to anyone who likes sushi and sashimi. Thank you Ichiban Mikoshi!

    Great little sushi stand. Amazing quality for the price. The dragon roll and rainbow roll are my go-to items on the menu. Highly recommend.
