Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

Red Robin in the Wheaton Mall is a great place to grab a quick bite.. especially if you like burgers. The specialty burgers are the go-to choice.

Decent place within Lake Forest Mall. Standard Red Robin menu options. Decent beer and cocktail selections, I appreciate the milkshakes (boozy versions here as well) moreso lol. Pleasant service. They introduced a fancy payment system at many tables, where patrons can split / itemize bills and pay directly via credit card, which is great to use.

My review may be influenced by the fact I that I usually get seated at the bar. On off hours the bar is perfectly fine, but when they are busy, you can easily get forgotten about as your server is also the bartender. Do not go to the restaurant and expect a quick meal. Instead expect a slower, more relaxed dinning experience.

Food is always consistent at Red Robin. I've never had a meal I didn't like. The boozy shakes are delicious and the bottomless root bear floats are awesome. The pretzel bites appetizer is also very good.

I usually rave over Red Robin, but this specific location lacks in some key areas. The service has never really been above average and the food isn't ever as good as other locations. I would personally rather drive to the Germantown locations and I live less than a mile away. Red Robin usually has friendly service and delicious food, but not this one for some reason! Sorry Red Robin...
