Oliva's Kitchen Mexican Fusion

I know, this is a Mexican restaurant. Nonetheless, the make a great Cuban sandwich. Yes, I ate a Cuban sandwich instead of tacos and it was worth it! The tacos I saw coming out of the kitchen seem solid too. I will definitely go back to try the tacos but give this place a chance and you may be surprised.

So happy I found this little gem in Bethesda. The owner is so friendly, his smile and positive vibe and nice conversation always brighten my day. The food is delicious. Perfect for breakfast or lunch, can’t go wrong with their assortment of burritos, breakfast burritos, tacos, quesadillas, etc. Authentic and delicious. Nice to buy from a small business where everything is made, right there as opposed to coming out of cans of some giant corporate place.

I'm just passing through Bethesda for a couple of hours. Based on all the great reviews I decided to stop in.

Everything they said is true:
- great food
- great service
- somewhat expensive

$15 for a super tasty medium sized breakfast burrito.

I might give it 4.5 stars if I could because the price was fairly high even though it was very tasty.

A must try for those who love homemade Mexican food!
Happened to stumble upon this cute cottage when parking to go to an adjacent establishment. Decided to stop by and have some coffee and some breakfast. They have some dishes that I haven't seen outside of Texas. We ordered the chiliqueles and Mexican juevos. Both are incredibly delicious and had the perfect spice level. Everything was made with the freshest ingredients and with love. The owner is friendly and kind and it feels like a place I could come many times to feel at home. As someone who cooks a lot at home and really pays attention to ingredients I, without any hesitation, highly recommend visiting Oliva's Kitchen (named after chef's mother). Let's help make sure this establishment becomes a gem in this lovely community!
