“Interesting idea and concept along the lines of mall food stalls but better. Many choices we ate from Sky Lantern and it was tasty. They have a bar where you can drinks. A small indoor area that can get very crowded. Also a small area for sitting outside. Interesting decoration is trying to be trendy and cool. Fun casual quick dinner out.”

“The service exceeded all expectations, while the server was super friendly, attentive, and quick. My wife said the margarita she had was the best she has had to date. Everything we ordered was so delicious we spent our meal urging one another to try our entree (which we all felt was the best). I tried the seafood burrito, woodifre shrimp, and chorizo, birria tacos, nachos, and my own veggie chimichanga, which were all hot and delectable. If you are in DC and looking for some great Mexican food, Ubano - Heights is a solid option for you and yours. Additionally, our meal was affordable 😉 (which isn't a requirement, but a perk indeed).”

“My wife and I have lived in this neighborhood for several years and this store is fantastic. We routinely get breakfast sandwiches, lunch, snacks, wine and beer here. They have wine tastings here on select nights as well. My wife and I have been here hundreds of times and have never had a bad experience. The owner Tenny and her family are wonderful. Once last year, the air conditioning in our apartment building went out during a heat wave last year. When Tenny overheard us complaining about it one afternoon, she unplugged on of the fans she had going in the store and lent it to us on the spot. We LOVE Friendship Gourmet!!”

“The aesthetic here is very nice. The mid-century modern design is beautifully executed. I came in for breakfast and I really enjoyed the chicken sausage! Next time I’d love to try the pastries because those also look great. Customer service here is also excellent.”

“It's a very cool bar. Had such a good vibe to it. Irish food tasted good too. Great fried pickles. I hope it does well. Was a decent crowd for a Friday night. Could get a seat and enjoy the bar or a table. Will come back for a lunch.”
