We really liked the atmosphere and service at Clarks Lodge! The look is great and everyone was super nice. We had the burger and Ruben and they both tasted great. The reason why this is 4 starts and not 5 is because of the flan that had jelly on top (sorry but that was not my favorite- maybe put the jelly on the side)
We went to The Clark’s Lodge on a Tuesday for Happy Hour. We were pleasantly greeted and sat in the bar area.
The bar area is large and well decorated. The staff is friendly and prompt.
The Happy Hour menu is ample and tasty. All of the food was well seasoned and good temperature.
The bar is well stocked!
There is a pleasant atmosphere with outdoor seating available.
There is plenty of parking lot and street parking.
I highly recommend stopping in for a meal and drinks.
The atmosphere and service were great. Bonnie helped us at the bar and was super friendly. The place has a modern lodge vibe, with stuffed trophy animals on the wall, but with a modern twist. The booths in the dining room look like ski lifts. Unfortunately the food left a little to be desired. Given that they just opened, I'm not going to ding them too hard on the overall rating, but there is definitely room for improvement. We got the Southwest Eggrolls, which had a nice flavor, but were soggy. They could've been cooked longer, and the sauce should be served on the side, instead of drizzled over. The Mediterranean platter was not good at all. The pita points tasted stale, the sauces were room temperature and not very flavorful, and the olives were hot. Not sure if that was intentional, but it was not what we expected. The lone bright spot was the vegetable samosas, which were crispy and flavorful, would definitely order them again. I'm sure once they work out the kinks the food will improve.
This was a great soft opening for the restaurant. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong. It is nice to have a cute place to go to that’s down the street. My husband and I are already planning what to get on our next visit.
Not pictured is the chicken quesadillas which were very good and filling.
I would recommend this place to everyone.
Awesome first visit to our new neighborhood restaurant! Food was very good, a good variety for pretty much anyone. We had- the Calamari, Samosas, Lodge Shrimp, Hickory burger, Lodge salad and fish n chips. All very good. Nice vibe and very good and friendly service!. We will definitely be back. Definitely recommend. Welcome to the neighborhood!
