“The menu is big with lots of fun items. For my first time here, I wanted to try some classics. My boyfriend and I split the torta de res, taco de pastor and taco de camaron. The torta was delicious! It’s a huge sandwich, so I recommend sharing. the bolillo bread they use is so soft and fresh. The meat was good and reminded me more of a cheesesteak kind of meet which I am not used to on a torta. The toppings and salsas (verde and roja) made the sandwich special. Taco de pastor- one of my personal favorite tacos, so I was really disappointed that the meet was so dry. The pineapple and salsas made it salvageable. Taco de camaron- the shrimp is so small, they have no seasoning and the toppings are sad strips of ice burg lettuce and diced tomatoes. It was bland. We didn’t even bother eating more than one bite. Overall, it was a good first experience. I was hoping a classic menu item like the tacos would be amazing, but they were meh. However, I plan to give them a second chance (for science). I will come back for the torta and to try the other menu items. Some things to note: prices are not listed anywhere. I didn’t ask for a receipt, so I don’t know how much each item cost. (My total was around $20.) This is a food truck with 3 tables for seating.”

“The battery light on my car went on while I was driving on the interstate and the engine started sputtering. Turns out the alternator was not working properly and the car was running off the battery. I was able to pull in and had the alternator replaced in less than two hours. “One of the best pizza spots in gaithersburg. Great service, fast, and the food is top notch. We got buffalo wings, XL mediterranean pizza, and 2 calzones(one veggie one custom). It took at most 15 minutes and they very courteously brought our order to us. The pizza is sooooo good. The crust/dough isn’t flabby or burnt, has a great taste, frankly we could eat it plain. The mediterranean pizza is filled w great veggies but isn’t salty, very well balanced. Wings were amazing, very saucy and not over fried or dry. Unfortunately, they were the first to go before we remembered to take pics. Calzones are great; very cheesy and the dough is thin and a bit crispy. The sauce on the side is great for dunking, order extra. Definitely recommend for a family pizza night or large party”

“I love this place. I really enjoy authentic Chinese food. This place specializes in my favorite soup. I was so excited to go and try and it was such a great experience for me. The services. Awesome. My favorite drink was the blended watermelon with no additives. We tried lots of different dishes. For side dishes. We tried the cucumber salad, Chinese fried donut, fried pork belly, the fried custard, and the pickled chicken gizzard. We got the soup for three combination. the whole experience was great. I would highly recommend this place.”

“All serves in disposable plastic, flautas where chicken flautas had some sort of additional filler maybe cream? Felt like cheap quality corn and transfat oil. Esquite corn also tasted as it was frozen and then tawed. Jamaica tasted fake. Nonetheless the “birria pizza” seems like a clever marketing pitch. If I ever come back it would be to try that. Neighbor tables seems to love their “charola de birria” I guess it depends if you like “Mexican” food this is ok. If you dig “Autentica comida Mexicana” you may have to prepare from scratch at home or pay significantly more for higher quality ingredients, its always a trade off, given how far we are from 🇲🇽lindo y querido.”

“Lovely early Dinner today. The restaurant is a very eclectic space, cool wallpaper, art work, and lighting fixtures. We started with a Margherita and a Pina Colada. As starters we chose Raw Oysters and Korean Porkbelly on crispy Rice. For dinner the husband chose a Burger and a side of Miso Mac and Cheese. I opted for the Mussels in Curry Sauce. Everything was delicious. Service was courteous and prompt. Make reservations, as this place gets busy. Ask to be served by Jeremy or Lyman, they are the best.”

“It is incredible how little known this place is while a larger Korean chain restaurant that shall-not-be-named is super popular despite clear quality and quantity differences. THIS IS LOCATED INSIDE LOTTE MARKET We got the bibimbap, ramen Tteokbokki, classic kimbap, and kimchi. The portion sizes are large!! Maybe double the size of the chain alternative for better prices. The food was also super good and tasted very authentic. I was most impressed with the ramen dish, but don’t let that downplay how good the bulgogi in the bibimbap was! The kimchi was very fresh and wasn’t over fermented. Nothing felt greasy, fatty, or unhealthy. Super clean. Spice wise, the bibimbap had the sauce on the side so very controllable, the ramen dish was medium spicy as well as the kimchi. I ordered on DoorDash and picked up. Pretty straightforward, and lots of Korean people eating there. Be mindful of the hours. This place deserves to be waaaay more well known than it is. It is literally a hidden gem right now.”

“Wonderful experience. This is a bit of a different style than Peter Chang's other restaurants as it's Chinese "tapas" style but it's a welcome change and a nice way to sample many different dishes. Food was delicious with incredible depth of flavor and a reasonable size for being tapas style. We also tried the half roast duck and it was perfect. Service was top notch and professional. The restaurant itself was clean and beautifully designed. The restaurant was understandably very busy at noontime on a Sunday but we were able to snag a parking spot. Note that the parking lot is kind of small and fills up fast, but the restaurant is worth it. We're so excited to have this higher end, quality Chinese restaurant nearby and look forward to visiting again.”

“Feb 2024 We have gone to the Rockville location multiple times before, so we decided to check out this new location. They're located in a quiet shopping center with a free parking lot, and the inside is dimly lit with curtains over the windows. There are booths and table-booths along the walls, and 4-8 people tables in the middle. Overall, the service and food quality is not that different, but the location and restaurant itself is definitely more spacious and less crowded. The service was quick and brisk, with some of the staff being more polite than others. They have a robot here that helps bring food to the table, though a staff member still moves the dishes from the robot to the table. The food was decent, nothing too amazing. The peanut butter sauce served with the appetizer was sadly not very peanut buttery. The pork roll and chicken roll are not very different, taste-wise. The jumbo shrimp was definitely my favorite. Note the S1 special has additional spicy sauce served on the side. I recommend adding some to get more flavor.”
