I wish I could give this 5 stars but I can't because they don't make griyo with pork(like it's meant to be) they make them from turkey and its just not the same. Why does pork keep getting imitated with turkey??? First bacon now this?? Also the salad I got had some really old and beat up greens, just wasn't fresh.

This place was awesome! The ambiance, the food, and the flavors were all something delicious to experience. And the night I went on a date here, they had an Afro-Cuban band play...it was great. Please get some chicken and some good traditional macaroni and cheese

Quaint and colorful is the first thought that comes to mind upon stepping into this establishment for the first time. There is a bar and pictures on the wall that beautifully display Haitian culture. The servers are accommodating with enthusiastic personalities. It’s hard to not like the place off of this alone. The food was excellent. I got the red snapper, rice with kidney beans, and fried plantain. It was a decent amount of food.

I will say though, that this establishment may not be the best for super large parties. There were about 30 people in my party when I visited for the first time and it took well over two hours for every single person to get his/her food. If you want authentic Haitian food, keep your party small and there should be no reason not to give it 5-stars.
