I drove 90 miles to eat at this little gem. I must say i was wildly surprised. The food gets 4 out of five stars only because i believe there is always room for improvement..

Service was very friendly and my to-go was prepared quickly and packaged to travel well. They have many tables for dining in, but they also seem to have a busy carry out business too. The food was well prepared and tasty. Today there was a note that said “cash only” and I sort of got the sense the this is always the case.

I've been here twice and I love this place! The stewed goat and shrimp in coconut sauce are to die for. The sweet plantains are perfection. They have $3 bottled beers for happy hour. Good bachata playing in the background. The waiter, Chachi, and bartender, Davis, are very personable. Be aware that you may have to wait a bit for your food depending on what you order. Highly recommend!
