My friend and I enjoyed lunch from their $12 lunch menu. The ginger beer tasted of ginger and was a tasty alternative to typical soda options. His juicy blackened chicken leg/thigh quarter was served atop a mound of quinoa, corn and cherry tomatoes with a neatly sliced wedge of avocado on the side. My 2 inch by 4 inch rectangle of trout was savory spiced and cooked perfectly. It was served with very lightly garlicked green beans and rosemary baby potatoes. For dessert we savored chocolate chip cookies so fresh from oven that the chocolate melted in our mouths. An enjoyable meal for the money and the waitress even refilled our glasses of ginger beer.
This was super conveniently located to where I was working, so we went there a few times. The food was excellent, drinks were great, and the service was spectacular. Nothing about my experience deserves criticism. The chickpea fries were great as an appetizer (hummus in stick form). Not that it's a difficult food to do well, the grilled cheese was exceptional.
The hostess and the woman who poured our water were not the friendliest of people but our waitress (Megan) was top notch! The $12 lunch menu was perfect and the portions were great for lunch. The bread was good and the butter that came with it was served soft which is exceptional to me! The cookies served at the end of our lunch were delicious! We will definitely be back!
I went for happy hour on a Thursday. The cocktails were $6. They have wine and beer as well but it's more of a cocktail place. Happy Hour food is small but good. Its not bad. I would go again for sure.
