Fidel's Chicken

Trying for the first time. Chicken was flavorful and nice and hot. Ordered the cilantro rice and green beans. Rice was tasty but didn’t seem all the way cooked. The green beans were bland and had 3 different levels of cooking…some were over cooked, some were under cooked and some were just old. No flavor.

The green sauce is very good but way too salty, the yellow one wasn’t bad but it was hard to tell what it was…

Nobody really greets you at the door but when you say hello, they say hello back. This place, like most places needs more help. No personality.

With some upgrades, this spot can be even greater.

Just picked up a half chicken and two sides, a steak burrito, a chicken taco for the kiddo, and some fried plantains from Fidel's. The chicken was DELICIOUS and I thought the sauces were great too, especially the spicier green sauce. The wife and daughter loved the yellow sauce. The fried plantains were really good. There was a chicken sandwich available but not on the menu. Will probably try that next time.

I thought the service was just fine. No issues there at all. We got takeout but the restaurant area was clean, colorful, and inviting. Prices are a tad high but portion sizes were solid so I didn't feel ripped off.

Will definitely be hitting this place up again.

We got carry out since we are nearby. No problem communicating our telephone order. The order was correct.
Chicken was delicious and sides were fresh!

Good Chicken, excellent fried Yucca, the mixed vegetables are fresh. The service was a little off but that's understandable since they just opened for business. The only complaint is that they do not have an Ice machine. Wow, spend all this $$$ in opening a restaurant and not have an Ice machine. Oh, well. Still a good product and reasonably priced.
