Junie's Hot Chicken & K-Dogs

Came into Junie‘s K-corn dog on a Sunday afternoon! It was perfect for today’s rainy weather, we got Korean corn dogs! They also have chicken, hot chicken sandwiches, and seafood boils, which look awesome and I cannot wait to try them next time! The owner was so nice and suggested different variations for the hot dogs!

Delicious sweet potato k corn dog with half mozzarella and half beef. Loved it! The owner was really kind and will definitely be back again for another k dog. I want to also try the seafood boil and Nashville chicken.

In love with this place excited to try more. The Korean fried chicken is excellent! Crispy and the soy/garlic was flavorful. The chicken sandwich (not spicy) was crisp and the extra bite they give you is divine! The bubble tea was just okay but the k-corn dogs were all tasty—try the sweet potato! Can’t wait to go back and try the seafood boil

The food was delicious I had the Sweet and chill dog and the Potatoes dog. My girl had the hot Cheeto one they were all soo good. I would recommend if it’s your first time buy the half and half to see which one taste better with mozzarella or a beef dog. Had the jumbo wings and they come plain but they give you sauce on the side. Very good price on the wings 10 for 10

This is definitely a hidden gem of Silver Spring. If you haven't been there yet - you're missing out! Tucked away in the corner of the Glenmont Shopping Center is one of the best food places in Silver Spring! Junie's offers a variety of food, but what I tried was the corndog, chicken burger, churros, and brown sugar boba tea.

I'm not typically a huge hot dog person, but I was intrigued to see I could customize the corndog so much, from the filling, to the outside, with a good selection of dipping sauce. I chose the potato corndog, with half mozzarella and half beef. It was DELICIOUS. The potatoes were crispy and not soggy at all, the mozzarella was stringy and gooey, and the beef of the hotdog was high quality. I also loved the chicken burger, which was crispy and juicy, not dry or hard at all. The coleslaw gave it a perfect mix of flavor. Churros were sweet, but not too sweet. Went perfectly with the super sweet brown sugar boba, and I loved the taste. Boba had a great chew. I'm pretty picky about tea, but they knocked it out of the park.

Next time I'm coming back, I'm bringing friends.

Customer service was awesome, the owner welcomed us with great hospitality and the music was great too. A 10/10 experience that definitely will be a staple food spot I plan to become a regular of!
