Main Street Pearl

This represents the best of Takoma Park. Run by someone I admire and trust, super eco-friendly, supporting the local community. Where else can you fill your own bottle with sparkling wine and your own mason jar with bubble tea? I don't normally drink bubble tea, but this was a treat for me! Their dedication to low-waste and plant-based snacks puts them in the forefront of green eating & drinking!

This shop is a perfect match for the diverse Takoma Park community. Bubble teas and beer! Plus, diversity in the ages of employees. The owner has a few smart pre-teen helpers that cater to the younger generation that comes in to dine and view craft/art work. As the Beach Boys crooned years ago "I'm picking up good vibrations"

This is a charming little shop with a few seats inside and outside on their whimsical patio. Drinks and light fare, plant based! We happened by waiting for take out from next door but will be back!

Such a lovely and charming place! And everything there is plant-based which is so awesome. So you can get a milk tea but it's not dairy. They also have a sweet little back garden area to sit in that is outdoors, and a nice selection of treats and things to take away. Highly recommended!

The cheapest and chillest place to drink. The beers, ciders, meads, and sparkling wines are categorically delicious, and I can't resist the baked goods. The owner and staff are delightful, and the community atmosphere makes the Pearl feel like home. Come down and see for yourself.
