Island Pub

Food was yummy, large portions, reasonably priced. We ate here on our road trip but it definitely has that " local haunt" vibe. If I lived here this would definitely be our chill place.

Got in late on a NFL playoff night. Totally screwed up our order but it didn’t matter cause the food we got was great. The live music was a pleasant surprise. Service was exceptional. I’m definitely coming back again.

Gave Island Pub a try today and had an excellent dinning experience. Quick lunch with a hot Ham and Cheese sandwich with fries. Ham wasn't slices but actual carved chunks and the cheese was good. Wife had French Onion Soup and a Salad and said it was good as well. Server was good but still learning the finer points of the menu. Really like the Bar, Pub Table, and restraunt style seating in a large open floor plan. Overall a good experience today.

We really enjoyed our dinner at island pub. We visited on a weekend evening and it was a busy evening at the pub. The waitress treated us like we were her only customers...excellent customer service. We got appetizers, soups and entrees. Everything we ordered was delicious. Prices were reasonable with many of our favorite local foods as menu options. We had our daughter with us and were unsure if this pub was kid friendly...it is. We will definitely be back to this pub soon.

We did not eat there grilled cheese sandwich but there menu stated they offer a fancy grilled cheese of the week. Who does not love a grilled cheese? Three that we know of are the crab dip grilled cheese, italian sausage with peppers and the fancy Thanksgiving fancy grilled cheese.

First experience with the new restaurant.
I like the new layout with the walls removed and the additional Tvs, dart board, and stage.

Our waitress doesn't stay at your table long enough to give multiple orders, she often drops and runs.

The place was packed and it's unfortunate that the seating isn't more organized because I watched several tables leave after sitting for awhile and not being waited on.

Food was mediocre - my friend at the table said the burger was delicious, my other friend had to send her chicken Caesar salad back because there was very little chicken. I ordered the buffalo chicken wings and gravy fries. The wings were meaty and the buffalo sauce was not super spicy - but the wings were not that hot temperature wise. The fries were nothing special. The gravy was ok but we are pretty sure it's from a jar.

The best thing we had was the brownie from the brownie sundae. The vanilla ice cream again just ok.

The pours on the wine were good.

I recognize it's a new restaurant and my review is not like a few of the others. I chalk it up to growing pains and look forward to giving another try soon.
