Sweetbay Restaurant & Bar

I want to give Sweetbay 5 stars SO bad but.....
First off the food! Wow!!! Everything we ate was fantastic! You can tell the cooking staff knows what they are doing. Second, the service was perfect! Even with how busy it was last night our food came out in a timely manner. Our waitress we great! Third, the drinks were soooooo good!!!!

The reason I couldn’t give Sweetbay 5 stars. It was SO loud! They pack so many people in the restaurant - I asked my wife several time to repeat herself because I couldn’t hear her. With that may people packed into a small place it also got very hot in the restaurant.

I can’t wait to go back again but I’m going to try and pick a non busy night next time.

Had dinner here with a big family group over the Christmas holiday. We had a large group but everything seemed to flow smoothly, especially for a brand new kitchen! I had the scallops and the food was absolutely delicious. The risotto base for the scallops was especially good. Desert was a creme brulee and it was also excellent. If you're around I would definitely try and get in here and eat!

Had dinner last night (NYE) with friends and the food and drink were amazing! We had the Halibut, Chicken Marsala, and Porkchop. All were great. Our server, Sarah, was fantastic. So glad to have a great restaurant in our area now.

What a great surprise. We decided to do an impromptu date night and decided to check out this new restaurant. Amazing quality of everything we ate. The tenderloin appetizer was amazing, loved the brussel sprouts... the scallops and paella were awesome!! Can't wait to come again.

Hands down BEST crab cakes in town! We (a party of five) had both an amazing meal and fabulous overall experience. Sarah, our server was attentive and sociable. Cocktail menu had something for everyone but my favorite would be the Root of Kentucky. What a great addition to Leonardtown! We will definitely be back soon!
