The food was good but not worth the price. They seem really proud of the menu to the point of not wanting to change anything about it or make substitutions. The wait staff was nice and friendly but it seems like the management and Chef was not. When I left I felt nicked and dimed. I don't plan on returning, it just wasn't a pleasurable experience.
My husband and I went for an early Valentine's dinner and had a wonderful experience. The sangria was amazing, the steaks were very well prepared, and the peanut butter chocolate cake was delicious.
We came for dinner and was NOT disappointed! ???? We started with a glass of Godello suggested by the knowledgeable bartender and ordered some crab balls to go with... delicious! I ordered the scallop special and they were cooked to perfection and paired with a beautiful sauce. For dessert I finished with an espresso martini & chocolate cake. If you haven't been here yet, you don't know what you're missing.
Last night I ordered a Delmonico steak for carry out. I specifically ordered Black and Blue. Not blackened, Black and Blue. When I got home and opened it the steak was RARE. I have had this before there and it was great, I would have just sent an e-mail but couldn't find one on there website. A loss of $40. if you get carry out check it before you leave.
This used to be a local favorite of my wife and her family’s. I say was because we recently went on a date night and the experience was nothing like it’s been in the past. Previously the food has been great and the atmosphere warming but this last visit the food seemed more on par with local chain restaurants. Which is fine if your paying chain restaurant prices but $14 dollars for a cup of soup that seemed to salty and the fish bites were about the size of a large tater tot. They used to be very large and worth the price. Perhaps it was a bad night or maybe it’s just the way that it seems restaurants evolve but I doubt we will be going back.
