Outstanding Excellent food and staff

First time here, what an amazing experience from the staff to the food. Had a funeral in town and it was across the street. Ordered the Rabbit to start and it even came with a puff pastry. My mother got the Scallops which had more than you could even eat. I had the Duck Breast with Sprouts. The waiter was excellent. Another waiter even came over that we knew and said hello. If your looking for a excellent meal and to come away with a fully belly. The Bistro is for you. A+

A real find!

Not very large, but very elegantly appointed, even though it's inviting and casual. Beautiful decor.

We were greeted enthusiastically before we could get entirely through the front door. We were seated promptly.

Service was prompt, enthusiastic, cheerful, but in no way overbearing or intrusive. Frank Sinatra was playing softly to wonderful effect.

We were promised a fine dining experience, but the prices were quite modest, so I was a little skeptical.

We ordered, our food began to arrive at a comfortable pace. It's not that I've never had better, but the quality of ingredients and preparation were very high. Certainly fine dining. The value ratio here for the food is very high. Very high quality, very tasty, sufficient, but not overwhelming, wasteful portions, all at an excellent price.

Service throughout was impeccable.

If you're in St. Michaels, don't miss the Bistro.

I'd say this is one of the more classier restaurants in St Michaels with a French feel ..we had the sweetheart package at the harbor inn Resort which included our dinner to come to The Bistro the food here was awesome the chefs definitely know what they're doing!! not a huge menu but the selection that's on the menu is done precisely with class and integrity great spot I had the Croquette Madame which was by far one of the best I've ever had in my life
