Great food, I love the crabcakes and the fried shrimp appetizer. I get them everytime. Crabs are always great also. The atmosphere is an family crab house with eastern shore decor. There are some great local pictures and oyster cans. Sunday night's are great night to go, not very crowded, but it is hood anytime. Service is always good! They also serve Pepsi, which is an added bonus!
We were visiting my sister in St. Michael's and on their recommendation we decided that all of us would try it (six, including husbands). When we walked in, the sign said to seat yourself, which we did, we waited for a while and finally (about 10 minutes at least) someone showed up with the menus. Another 10 or 15 minutes went by and the Waitress came to take our order. My brother-in-law requested half shell oysters to be delivered before his meal. We all went on to place our orders. About 10 - 15 minutes later, we flagged down the waitress and asked what happened to the oysters, she said she would check on it, and came back to tell my brother-in-law that they would be right out. He reminded her he wanted it before his meal (chicken marsala) came out. Finally all the meals come out and she tells my brother-in-law that they were working on them, which he said he didn't want them anymore. We were all disappointed for him, especially another brother-in-law that had recommended the place. I also got the chicken marsala, and we both agreed, it was okay. Lacked flavor. One of my sister's had the seafood stew. She said the shrimp was cold in the middle and it wasn't very flavorful. When we told the waitress, she did apologize, and offered a dessert, but we were just ready to go. To leave on a positive note, my husband had salmon and he said it was done perfect and was delicious. Jim had a crab cake that he really enjoyed! Don't know what was going on last night but they were short handed and needed help in the kitchen. We will be back to St. Michael's but probably not to this restaurant.
Everything was cooked perfectly. The corn bread was amazing. There wasn’t much seasoning on the seafood though. I’m not sure they have old bay anywhere in the kitchen.
This place is great it used to be located on Tilghman Island, I had to Brooks Burger I think it had pulled pork I couldn't really tell what it was but there was lots of cheese it was cooked just the way I like it and it was really yummy. the bartenders are really nice I've been here two days in a row and they've been very kind to animals... Plus is an old single man there's lots of hot girls that come here..
