Schula's Grill & Crab House

We had a great meal here at Schula's. The waitstaff was very friendly and the food was phenomenal. Try the grilled shrimp and Rockafellar oysters. It's a quaint and cozy setting.

Schula's is a busy restaurant that was surprisingly not very noisy inside. Reservations are a must because they book up and you will be unable to get a seat during peak hours. My impression of the staff is that they are rather cordial, again a surprise. So maybe not your typical louder, friendly, rowdy bar and grill type place, which I am not saying is good or bad, just different. The food is good, but the unanimous consensus at my table is that the portion sizes could be bigger, especially for the price. I can imagine those with heartier appetites leave feeling still a bit hungry.

Okay, I'm a seafood lover as it is, so that already makes this bias, but I have a special needs toddler, but I still wanted to celebrate a special occasion with another family member, and the waiter at our table was AMAZING with my son!!! The other waitress were not as amazing, at all as they would not let my son and I walk past them even though they were not carrying food, just expected us to change course (let alone the fact he's a toddler, but especially not as easy when dealing with special needs) But our waiter completely made up for their rudeness!!! He was kind, and fun, and genuine. Oh and the food was really good! We ordered a ton of food and it was all cooked perfectly! So thank you to the chef, and thank you to our waiter for a great dinning experience!

This is a wonderful spot for a delicious meal at a good price. I have stopped at Schewels several times and each time the meal was wonderful. I always appreciate the wonderful customer service the staff provides. Try the seafood platter as an appetizer as it was a big hit with my party. They have a full bar with many popular top shelf choices. The bar is nice . As it has several large screen TVs that are playing sports. The location of the restaurant is located on the second floor of a mini shopping plaza and parking can be a little tight especially on Friday and Saturday evening. While The location is on the second floor behind the building it is still ground level and easily accessible. During the summer evenings they have an out side patio with umbrellas for shade.
