Windy Hill Restaurant

The man in charge of serving and running the place was absolutely beyond nice to me and my friends, and it seemed like the kind of small and quiet hidden gem that that the locals go to. We had a really great time and the food was really good, so I would highly recommend going and checking it out if you find yourself in the area.

1. Visited at 11 am for brunch.
2. First visit there under different owner.
3. Restroom was older style but very clean.
4. Not busy.
5. Friendly waiter was also the cook. One person operation during this visit.
6. Two of us had omelets. Good but nothing outstanding.
7. One person ordered a hamburger and fries. He said it was an excellent burger. Fries were also very good.
8. Prices were comparable with similar facilities along I-70 in this area. Better deal than fast-food.
9. Would stop again. Unique experience to be sure.

Surprisingly the food was quite nice. My initial thoughts were oh no after eating there tonight all I can say is don't judge a book by it's cover. It was great

Great food and great prices!
We drive this highway a lot and this was our first time here.
We both grew up loving hot meat sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy, this didn’t disappoint. We got one of each, turkey and roast beef, changed out the fries for mashed, and kept the cole slaw. All was good!
