Branded Chophouse

Overall pretty good. Prices seem really fair and a smart move for the area. Prime rib was a little over temp for sure but still enjoyed. Clean, fantastic service. The steak knives are hilarious...I get the trendy look but they have to be able to cut....used the butter knife which was substantially sharper. Would def go back and hope its a long term place.

The dining area is spacious but not crammed with tables which kept the noise level down. Conversations were easy which made it a more relaxing experience. The food was excellent. The prices were very reasonable. The service staff was pleasant and helpful but clearly a bit inexperienced. Hopefully, this will improve over time. We will definitely be taking our visiting family there over the Holidays.

I'm kind of torn about this new steakhouse. We went in for Sunday brunch and it was delicious. The atmosphere and service was excellent as well. I had a 12oz. Prime rib and it was reasonably priced at $21. But for dinner, a 16oz. ribeye is $55 with no sides? That same steak, with sides and cooked to perfection, at Texas Roadhouse is half the cost at $27. This is a small town restaurant with downtown DC prices. I am glad we have a new restaurant in town but sadly, I don't think it will last with those prices.

Update! - The New menu starting 12/1 has shown a needed reduction in prices. A 16 oz. Ribeye went from $55 to $39. Definitely more reasonable prices. We have grown to really enjoy this new restaurant.

We had brunch here this Sunday morning/afternoon. It was delicious, reasonably priced, and good food. The water provided should at least fill the glass. I am optimistic about the dinner menu, and hopefully a little more water in my glass.

I have had the chance to dine at Branded twice. First time was on a soft opening for my birthday! They had a birthday card signed but the staff on the table when we were seated (great touch) service was fantastic! We started with the Calamari (excellent) the we had the MD rockfish, Grilled Asparagus and Md crab soup, salmon and risotto. Received a dessert with a candle to celebrate my birthday to end the evening. The manager made sure we had a wonderful experience.
The next time I dined there the full menu was available and the Crabcake and the Penne Mac & Cheese was delicious.
Can’t wait to go back! Prices were not any higher than if you were to travel to Hagerstown or Frederick.
