The happy hour special at Mother's Cantina is one of a kind. Tacos are around 1-2 dollars each and come in all kinds of options. The beer is also quite affordable. If you are looking for a tasty happy hour to start off the night check out Mothers.

Excellent guacamole just to start, house made tortillas & chips, the margaritas are BOMB! Ok, then there's food, good Lord! Tacos & burritos are just the beginning! Everything is FRESH and delicious! Thanks Jason and Chelsea for the great service!

I ordered take out and really enjoyed it. The food was fresh, spicy and delicious. I thought the food was not going to taste that great, because I did not sit down at the restaurant, but boy was I wrong. The combo fajita meal with steak and chicken was amazing. The meats and vegetables were cooked just right and the toppings were great. The addition of the hot sauce made it complete. The only thing I did not care for was when I was about to pay, I noticed a .30 cent additional charge and was not sure why. Apparently the owner charges extra for the take out containers. I voiced my opinion and said the extra charge should just be incorporated into the price of the entree itself so that it would not stick out to people. Nonetheless, I would still order take out again,but hopefully I can experience sitting at the restaurant and enjoy the great ambiance that I could feel when I stepped inside to pick up my order.

We had about 1&1/2 hr wait but my brother highly recommended this place so we waited. Had a house margarita, which I noticed from the first sip had artificial sweetener and really was not good at all- yuk!! Asked the bartender, who confirmed that their mix contains saccharin. She recommended a margarita made with only tequila, lime & agave... top notch!! So while I was pretty disappointed in the house margarita, the food was outstanding. Even the leftovers were good cold the next morning. We met the owner (the wife) who was extremely friendly & patient, especially considering how crowded it was. So glad we decided to wait & eat here. Can't believe we've been passing this place by all these years!

Our recent visit here topped 'em all! The food was perfect & delicious (who knew spinach enchiladas could be SO GOOD!?) We got to chat with Neely (sp??) which added to the whole experience. And for the record- BEST SALSA EVER! I wish I could duplicate it...????

We love Mother’s and go often. Food and drinks are great. Servers are awesome. Everyone there treats us well. CANNOT beat the happy hour prices for what you get, but the non happy hour food is good too! Be prepared to wait for a good time with friends during happy hour in the summer (4-7 every day!) Oh...and the tortilla shop side is great too!
