Layton's Family Restaurant

This is a great spot to have a nice meal. It's family oriented and very friendly. The husband and wife who owns this restaurant are lovely people with an amazing love story. The prices aren't bad and your tummy will definitely be full. We come here every time we visit the ocean. Can't wait to come back.

If you want a breakfast that will stick with ya for a majority of the day, and be pleasant to your taste buds and stomach then his is the place! Absolutely love their. Belgian waffles and generous portions of bacon. The food is truly delicious, stop by it’s a must. The free donut samples are delightful. I recommend you stop by here OR start your day with breakfast here. Love it!

It is a family owned and family oriented restaurant. As we ate breakfast, the owner offered us freshly made donuts. He talked his parents into allowing him to make them - 50 years ago. Will definitely go back.

Girlfriend and I sat at the counter, waitress was there as soon as we were seated to take our drink order. Very friendly staff. Food was outstanding and the portion sizes were very big. She got the sweet potato pancakes, 3 large cakes with pecans on it. She couldn't finish the first pancake before she was full. I got the breakfast bowl, 3 eggs scrambled w ham bacon, sausage and cheese. For an additional $2.49I got the optional sausage gravy over it. So glad I did. The gravy was fantastic! The owner came out with fresh donuts sliced up and offering it to anyone who wanted a taste. He stopped and talked to us for about 10 minutes while our food was cooking. Super nice guy and friendly. We'll definitely be going there again. Great job Larry(owner). This is what a first impression should be.

First time here and I will definitely be back! The owner came over and greeted us with a hot donut, which made us feel at home. Our food and the service was good . I would recommend not cooking the scrambled eggs so hard. They looked like an omelette. Overall I would still come back and that's why I still gave them a 5.. Nice old time feel diner !
