Bread + Roses Bookshop and Café

.I am lactose free. A wonderful friend showed up with a slice of cake on my birthday. That being said, I rarely if ever am able to have cake. This cake is everything!! Moist, both light and decadent. There are layers of flavor to give you a perfect bite, with each bite. Needless to say, I will be back!!

Bread and Roses is everything you are hoping to find in a cozy Bookshop Cafe. It's warm and inviting. They have exceptional coffee, books, gifts, cards, notebooks and puzzles.

And they're open late which is everything that the Cape has been missing.

They are a fully vegan establishment but if you're not vegan don't let that turn you away. The management is kind and helpful and completely understanding if you are new to the experience.

We look forward to going back often.

Consistently every single time I come here 10/10. Whether you’re vegan or not you can hardly tell the difference because the food is just simply delicious. The coffee and espresso is also incredible. I have bought three books from here so far as well and I love the ability to find something new every time I’m here - if only I could read fast enough to keep up with the books I buy. To top it all off it’s just really really good people here. I wish I could hang out in the front window in the sun all day long!! But at that rate I’d need to start pitching in rent 😂😂 thank you Bread + Roses! My new favorite spot.

The environment is really nice and the staff are really friendly. I feel like I could stay there for an hour and just relax with a cup of coffee. I can't quite give it five stars because of the "drip coffee" that I ordered. I'm a bit dissapointed at the quality of it. I got it black, so there's nothing that could have messed with the taste. I'll be back again to try it or something else.

So amazing to have a vegan cafe and bookstore on cape! Super cute atmosphere, the girl working the counter and owner were friendly and welcoming. Great baked goods and coffee menu. Extra points for being all vegan ;) I wish i still lived closeby i would be a regular customer for sure!
