Pleasant staff. Contemporary industrial decor. Sandwiches and burgers are good, but priced on the high end. Chose garlic green beans instead of fries or coke slaw. They were terrific.
My wife daughter and I all went here over the summer and it was A+. We were immediately seated on a Saturday night which was awesome. We ordered the Tavern salad and chowder for an appetizer. The chowder was awesome.
For entrees we got Tavern Burger, Salmon, and Chicken fingers ... I sampled a bit of everything off of the rest of the fam's plate and everything was amazing.
We ordered a couple of adult beverages - The Gannon Mule and the Honey Bee ... the Honey Bee was probably the best tasting mixed drink I've ever had.
Our server and the wait staff we all friendly and attentive.
It is delicious. The wings are awesome. I had the Rosemary chicken. Out of this world with flavor. The Reuben was delicious because the corn beef was shredded. Everything was served hot! Ask for Brian. He is an awesome server.
This place was good. Newly remodeled and updated. Had music at 9:30 and the band was pretty good. I had the pork chop and it was very salty and I am not one who normally complains about salt. My gf said her oyster dish which was supposed to be clams was a bit salty too. Everything else was fine with the drinks...etc
Best fried oysters we've had in years. The breading is lighter than other places, who the oyster taste stands out. Places with less fresh oysters can bury their sins in heavy coats of starchy and seasoned batter. These tasted of the sea, clean and fresh. There's are some innovative fissures that also stand out, like the soft shell crab Benedict. Nicely done!
