    Mattakeese is one of the treasures of Cape cod. Food is always great and fresh. Chowder is the best! If you're looking for "glitz" this isn't the place BUT if you're looking for great views, great food and great service, Mattakeese Wharf is not to be missed

    Great location. Our table was on the "Porch." Nice summer breeze. Food was also great. You need reservations. Really good place!

    1st discovered Mattakeese earlier this decade. They offer the unique combination of incredibly beautiful seating where you can see the dunes and a LOT of fresh caught seafood options. Ironically enough, Douglas has been our waiter most of the times but Kelley has been as well. Definitely one of our 'must go to' places when you're on the Cape. Today I had the halibut entree & my son had swordfish. Both were incredible.

    Been I'm this area 30 years and never tried this gem. Great views. I did bar service. Jimmy was excellent and attentive. Great broiled Haddock. I'll be back for sure and bring others

    Had a lovely dinner here with my wife - look forward to coming back. They told us it would be an hour and we were seated before finishing our first drink at the bar. Food was wonderful. Highly recommend the chowder to start. Cioppino was spectacular - scallops were perfectly tender and sweet. Sunset out the window and right across the bay could not have been more beautiful.
